My first paper as a corresponding author was accepted by ACS ES&T Engineering. A former undergraduate student, Elizabeth, is the first author of this paper. Congratulations to Jeff and Greg on getting their paper on Pb adsorption to rutile accepted by ES&T. I enjoyed working with them a lot. Finally, I moved to New Haven. I will start as a postdoc in Dr. Menachem Elimelech on August 1st.

Surprised and honored to learn that I won first place in the MO JAM Fresh Ideas Student Poster competition. I would like to thank Dr. Daniel Giammar, my PI, and Dr. Jason He, the faculty adviser of the Environmental Engineering Students Association. I will represent Washington University in St. Louis and the Missouri AWWA section at the national AWWA annual conference and exposition in June in San Antonio.
